The other day i put an entire box without cutting it and had to watch from my window and watch the trash bin be thrown back and forth as they tried getting that one box out of the bin..... they were unable to. Get this product and make recycling easy for yourself

works great as long as you keep the right angle on the cardboard. if not it has a tendency to not go through the cardboard and hangs up on the edges

Works great! Cuts two folded cardboard (just and just). Easier and safer to use than (eventually) dull carpet knife. Charge holds in our use. Haven't actually recharged since purchase few weeks ago, mileage may vary.Some review said some issue with change blades, so ordered set from the get go, at least mine all looked the same.On first use the "safety switch " as I labeled it got stuck, ie. device's blade starts spinning on first touch :-OEventually it got unstuck and works as expected,ie. You have to press the safety switch as well as the handle to operate.Since it failed immediately, I'm SURE the CE stamp isn't CE but China Export, and I used a permanent marker on the handle to warn next user,just in case. -1 star for that. Blade doesn't do heavy RPM and you'd really have to try to cut off finger, but still it could do some serious harm if blade activates accidentally (due to once faulty safety switch).Anyway, I'm pleased with prices quality ratio at least for know, and mentioned in a tired hurry night before trash pick up, I'd definitely choose this over carpet knife (it doesn't have safety switch at all, not even a half-reliable one :) )

Received the cutter today and appears to work well. However there was no spare blade as listed in the description. I cannot see any way to contact Amazon to fix this other than returning the item.

I always have a delivery box or packaging that must be cut down for recycling. I have been using a utility knife, but never feel secure using it and I sometimes, even with the utility knife, I struggle to cut large boxes up. This purchase has really made things so much easier for me.

I obsess about cutting straight, smooth lines when wrapping gifts. When I saw this electric cutter, I just knew I had to order it before Christmas. I like that it was USB rechargeable so I didn't need to worry about batteries. It can be a little awkward to start cutting some times due to the safety mechanism, but once you have it cutting, it works great on my regular and foil wrapping paper. I found I could let the bottom guide run along the table, allowing me to quickly and precisely cut the paper. I know I could make regular scissors work, but this just made the process even more enjoyable.

It didn’t cut thru thick cardboard. Wrong charger included. We returned it.
