This is a nice Glue gun for the 18v Makita battery. Takes about 5 minutes to heat up. Includes glue sticks. This is better than the corded guns. So much more freedom with the cordless option. Great price.

The glue gun fails to heat after about 20 uses in my case. I used 4 or 5 glue sticks from the included package. I did not use any other glue. I got the glue gun in July and it was dead by September.I really wanted this to work, I wish Makita offered a glue gun.

I like that is lightweight and that it stands on its own. I was curious on how agile it would be with the Makita battery regular size on it but it’s honestly well balanced.

My husband like this portable to use glue gun since it's heat up very quickly about 60 seconds and it's cordless!However it does not come with its own battery pack you have to order it separately. Since we have a few Dewalt cordless tools already have battery, so we put on this glue gun, Dewalt 18 Voltage battery works perfectly!

Compact good for small projects ....like decorations ...cards etc .... you have to be patient with it to warm up and it is slow
