I never used the long blade, but the short one was a game changer for putting the flower beds to, um, bed this fall. It saved us hours of time.

Pretty good power, but it won't cut large stems because they won't fit like in larger gas models. Overall, they're desirable.

It does small wiry branches easily. Anything that you should use long pruners on, it will not cut through. I have no problems with how the long trimmer functioned. My issue is with the grass cutter attachment. It arrives connected to the hand held part of the trimmer. I removed it no problem and attached the long cutter blade with no problems. However, I needed to re-attach the grass trimmer and it WILL NOT go back on. I nearly broke my hand trying to get it back on. The bottom tab goes in the slot and the plastic grips on each side should slide right into the grass trimmer but it wont go in. Could just be defective and the grips are not clearing the path for it to be seated. Had to return. Wanted to love it but the struggle to reattach it and it wont connect. Can't deal with it.

Works great. Only used a couple of time but it makes quick work of trimming bushes. No more unreeling the extension cords and the accidental cutting the extension cord. Seems to be solidly built.

Beaware no battery included. It is adaptable to M18 Milwaukee though.
