I needed some cork grease for my piccolo, and thought I’d experiment with a new to me brand. I’m a professional flutist who is very particular about what products I use on my professional instruments. But my usual brand wasn’t available soon enough, and I could get this product quickly, so I thought it would be at least worth it as a temporary solution. This cork grease has a light texture and is thinner in viscosity than some of the famous brands. But that was fine for my piccolo; it wasn’t inadequate at all. I think I’ve ended up applying it a little more often. I’ve actually grown to appreciate the ease of getting a smooth, even layer on the cork. I’m still using the product, even though it’s different than big name brands. The larger macaroon sizes of the containers are really cute, but they don’t individually fit in my piccolo case or its cover. I can squeeze it into my flute case cover, but it is a tight fit. I really like the natural ingredients, but can hardly smell any fragrance, unlike another review, but I actually avoid fragrance when playing, so that’s fine. This is a good option!

I've tried a lot of different brands of cork grease and I like this one the best by far. It's natural, so it won't deteriorate the cork as petroleum-based greases will. It's fairly thick so one application will last a while. What I like best is that I can take my clarinet mouthpiece off easily without disrupting the reed placement when I have quick changes between Bb and A clarinets. It's the best!

The smell isn't very strong. But the packaging is super cute, and a little of the cork grease goes a long way. It looks like it will last a long time.

I ordered “purple & blue†but received “purple & greenâ€. I was disappointed because I love mint scent. Would give 4 or 5 stars otherwise. The size and the amount of cork grease in each container are larger than I thought. Definitely a lot larger than the tiny container of Yamaha cork grease, and I would expect it to last a long time. It works well as a cork grease. The scent is light (especially the green one) and pleasant.
