I keep a couple in my wallet,had to use on stage more than once,can save your bacon big time .Great to use before gig for piece of mind ,preemptive maintenance . Using currency is not very sanitary prefer to use these .

They do the intended job well. I pull the drying paper through each closed pad twice. I use two papers to do my entire sax because I found that at a certain point the paper tends to shred, leaving behind threads and residue that can result in a poor seal. Don’t overuse each paper. (For years, I’ve used a can of compressed air to occasionally blow out all my pads and tone holes). And I swear by Key Leaves…they work! A little extra effort can prevent a solo performance nightmare!

A must have for cleaning key pads especially up towards the saxophone neck. Use after cleaning with the pull through cloths.

They absorbed the moisture, but learned afterward that they can contribute to deposits on key pads.
