I bought this strap way back in 2016 and it’s still the one I use to carry back and forth from yoga classes. The elastic is a bit stretched out at this point 8 years later but I cannot complain, it’s held up

The elastic is so tiny it wouldn't even fit around my smallest mat. If you have a Barbie yoga mat or a toddler yoga mat they might work, otherwise they are a waste of time and money.

This is a nice, quality, basic strap but I found it a bit small for my mat. My mat is a 6 mm mat. The strap is working ok and holds my mat securely, it’s just harder to get on and off than I expected.

Didn't fit my yoga mat. Although my yoga mat is a little on the thicker side, I don't know if this would fit anything but the bare-bones yoga mat.

The shoulder strap is made of cotton and is soft so that it does not irritate my shoulder when I sling it over my arm. The loops that carry the mat are not cotton thankfully, they are made of a stiff stretchy elastic. They hold my mat very securely. I have a 68-Inch x 24-Inch x 3/4mm mat and it fits snugly, a little too tight actually. I hope the loops loosen up over time. I would not recommend this strap for a thicker or longer mat. It's a decent product and it does the job. Not sure if I would buy it again though, I wouldn't want to pay more than $5 for this strap.

So far I've only used it to carry my rolled mat but I like the product - the straps are almost as wide as the normal yoga belts and because they are 'solid' I don't have the tendency to wrap it around my hand multiple times as I do with a belt *and cut off the circulation when it tightens. Firm and strong. And in between it is very practical for wrapping the mat for carrying to class. I would recommend to others but I'm not a yoga pro so I would say definitely good for starters like me.

This is a good strap for the price. I have a 5mm mat, and it is a tight fit, but the loops are just wide enough to make it work. As others have said, the strap is not very long. If I move the loops closer together I can just barely use it as a cross-body, but it's better suited for over a single shoulder. I wish it were a bit longer, but the strap seems pretty durable.
