These elastic bands are very narrow & can easily slice through the foam of a yoga mat, even if one rolls that mat as tightly as possible. I no longer use these for my yoga mat but instead employ them for other uses.

These won't keep my mat coiled. It's a solid, quality mat and stays together with a true yoga strap, these didn't work for me.
