Arrived folded in a small plastic bag. Not natural form to the hat at all. Very light weight and not for large heads. More like linen weight than cotton. In the end, it wasn't what I wanted.

I’m a hat guy and love the variety of hats I own. I don’t have a kahki and love this style. I’ve had great luck with “cheaper†hats of late, so gave this DIYDECAL Cotton Newsboy Flat Cap a chance. I’m so glad I did.It’s a great looking hat, wears nicely, and seems well made. I love the color - looks great on the hat and on my head - The material is strong, nice looking, feels soft, and light enough to wear on hotter days. It appears well assembled, with stitching looking good. The hat sits straight and true on the head and feels good on. I love the fit and the way it sits on my head. It’s easy to adjust, simply popping open the button, adjust the strap, and pop the button closed. Works great.Overall I am thrilled with this DIYDECAL Cotton Newsboy Flat Cap and like it enough I would consider another color. Very pleased to have it and wear it.

I was initially disappointed with this hat as it arrived in a bag roughly the size of a sandwich bag. It does not "stand up" on its own like it shows it in the picture, though the material does look just like the picture. I got the green one. The material is about the weight of decent quality denim. I am more used to flat caps from that company in Boston. Anyway, once I put it on, I have to say it does look good, fits nice. I have a head size of about 7 5/8. So with that I was a little less disappointed, and it will make a good lightweight cap. EDIT: Initially I only gave the cap three stars, but after wearing for a day, I came back and pushed it up to 4. The cap was very comfortable and enjoyable to wear on this hot day. I must say it look pretty good as well. Anyway...I was disappointed with the condition of the cap when it arrived, but after a day of wearing, it stoop right up into shape. I was pleased. Mind you this is a single layer cap, no lining, no frills, but damn it is comfortable ! I honestly will order another couple in the same and different colors. At this writing they are something like $13 dollars as compared to $50 or more for some other name brands. I just thought I had better come back and let folks know I liked it much better after wearing. Enjoy.
