It was true for me after getting the package without issues or items falling out of it. It feels good! On my first night I found myself going to sleep and staying asleep till morning when my dog woke me up. I find using it - is like a hug from a loved one and if one’s mind is quiet - it is very helpful in falling asleep. Keeps one warm and Love the color I got - purple. Per size it almost covers the whole top of a queen bed but meets my needs of having it surround me to assist me in falling asleep.

I love this thing. I'm very picky so it was hard to find a weighted blanket in a style I like, this one is perfect. Very nice looking and fits perfect with my bedroom decor. I use it every night for sleep and it is very comfortable and warm, no issues so far.

It's a dark dark blue colour. So not as light as the picture but not too dark towards being black either. Feels heavy when lifting it with arms (it's a workout for shrimpy arms like mine) but you don't feel it when underneath. Soft enough for my sensitive skin (level of sensitive: H&M sweaters make me ITCH). When my partner and i used it that first night. I remember waking up after wondering why i woke up an hr earlier and more alert than usual. Rolled over to my side to find my partner slowly waking up and saying my thoughts exactly! We believe it's because it really does help give deeper sleep.The only downside i would name is the strands/fluff that comes off just a little sometimes. Especially when we first got it, though it's less now a few weeks in. There were also some small beads we had to shake off the blanket at first and cleanup but after that no more :)Washing it will be an adventure we've yet to figure out though. Can't put it in the washer so not sure what to do just yet
