These jam blocks from TENTOTEN are a pretty good deal with both for less than 30 bucks. It's a little misleading to call them "cow bells" as they have a plastic sound, not a metal cowbell sound. Definitely compatible sound-wise with the popular "jam blocks" that are out there, mine is right in the middle of these two, pitch-wise. They seem pretty well-made and the attaching hardware is nice quality - they attach and stay put. It's a little unusual that the striking surface is the curved surface, but I tried the flat surface and the sound is not as full and rich. These will not replace your cowbell, but they could replace a jam block or just bring additional sounds to your percussion setup. Either way, the price is right, the construction is good and the sound is nice. Keep it up, TENTOTEN!

These are nice, solid blocks with a clear, hollow sound, similar to a woodblock. They attach securely to a cymbal stand or music stand, and didn't move even with a very enthusiastic player. They're a nice addition to my kit.
