Found a 1947 Gretsch Field Drum in a flea market in Tennessee but didn't have a snare drum stand that would work. So, since I already had the floor tom legs I bought three cowbell bracket and turned them into floor tom brackets. Worked great! Now I have an extra floor tom or a throaty old snare drum sound with the snares on. Awesome! Very well-made parts. No issues with them at all.

This had the potential to be a great clamp. However there's a design flaw (at least in mine) that makes this miss the mark gravely.The two little screws that clamp on a rod don't seat properly. The holes around them should be bigger. This would also allow a drum key to fit around screw head as screw tightens. I had to take a drill to try to enlarge holes but it didn't work very well. At the deepest part of holes (where screw head should lie flat) there remains a ridge that keeps the head from seating properly. I guess I should try a better brand. I am tired of messing with this!Edit:Customer service is stellar. Truly top-notch!! I will not hesitate buying from this seller again! You can buy with confidence. We need more sellers like this one!

These clamp mounts worked well for my first gig using them to mount a 10 inch Tama Pancake tom and a cowbell onto a Tama 14 inch floor tom rim. They didn’t move or affect the sound quality. I highly recommend them.

Great bracket if you intend to leave it attached to a drum, but if you need to remove it after each use it takes time to attach it. Beyond that minor issue, this is a great device.

I bought this to mount my DW One Beat drum stick holder. the mechanism on the One Beat is too large for my floor tom leg. This clamp attaches on the rim of the drum and can expand large enough to hold a cowbell arm big enough to fit the One Beat. this clamp is the smallest one I could find that could do the job I needed. It is not as bulky as the other clamps I considered ( and ordered). I'm thinking about getting a couple more, because they could hold other accessories without getting in the way.

I have an E-kit with standard drum hoops and mesh heads and after I converted my acoustic snare into a hybrid using foam-cone internal triggers, I wanted to convert the original snare pad to a second floor tom for a 1 up 2 down setup. What I didnt want to do was drill the shell and install a mount, so I decided to try one of these little guys along with an L-rod multi clamp ordered at the same time.It shipped ultra quick, and installed in seconds. Its as rock-solid as it looks and Im flying a full-shell 14" 6-lug pad with hoops top and bottom off an L- rod clamped to my rack and all I can say is it is fantastic. This is one of the coolest, most affordable and versatile gadgets on the market and Im now looking for excuses to buy more. I love things that just do what the hell they claim to do without any buyer's remorse and this is exactly how I'd describe this little bit o' kit. Whatever you plan on doing with it, it'll work, provided youre fixing it to a steel hoop. It would likely work on a wood hoop, but the pressure of the drumkey-operated 'jaw' would likely damage it, as mentioned in the literature. Anyway, buy with absolute confidence.

I had a hanging 14" tom that used to droop when I played. I guess it was too heavy for the mount. I added this gadget to the bottom rim of the tom and inserted one floor tom leg to take some of the weight off the tom. Works like a charm! No more drooping tom halfway through the gig. This mount is good quality and seems made really well. In theory, you could buy three of these to create a floor tom without any drilling of holes.
