OMMMGGGG! this thing is AMAZING! for a couple of years I used 2 chair casters to roll my gate on, not realizing this gate wheel was available for purchase and the gate hated them and made my gate opener arm do crazy stuff but now that I have the proper gate wheel on the gate which was incredibly easy to install the gate arm works as it should and the gate itself functions nicely. I've already ordered another wheel for the other gate. in the coming days i will install 1 inch self driving screws in both to help ensure they stay in place.IM SOOOO HAPPY!!

It doesn't stay put unless you tighten it down vertically. Sideways mounting will not hold long-term. It does stay still if you keep it vertically just like the picture this ad provides. Wheels work great on rainy days on muddy dirt roads.

First off I ordered one for my sister's tired old galvanized gate at her home to help it operate a little easier. So I order one to try I out and see if it would work before I ordered a second to match it. It did work beautifully. So I enthusiastically ordered the second. It arrived today in seemingly the same perfect condition. Until I looked at the u bolt. All of the threads are messed up. And not from damage. I was a tool and maker, this is poor manufacturing process, a bad die or etc. Everything else is in perfect shape but the u bolt is completely unusable. I don't want to return it because I want it to match so I have to get a replacement bolt at a hardware store.
