I was looking at bookends to complete my Hunger Games book/movie display, and came across these. I love how they look, almost like cast iron. They have some heft to them which is great. I won't have to worry about it tipping over. Very happy with my purchase.

I was shocked to see that the bookends had more rust coloration on them than the pictures when I received them, but I was pleasantly surprised by the weight of them. The gold color is also more orange in color than I wanted. I may eventually spray paint them the color I really want. They are very sturdy and hold Pretty heavy books.I hope these pictures help you make an informed decision on whether or not these are the bookends for you.

I didn't tell my husband (Robert) that we bought these specific bookends. When we opened this package he laughed so much, for almost 5 minutes straight. The arrow design really made him chuckle. We agreed it will be a great conversation piece! They hold up these 4 hardcover books (that I just gathered to take the picture) but they look great on our bookshelf and will hold the whole shelf just fine. Get them!
