Perfect for fireplace blower fan, wood stove, gas log fireplace blower and fan kit applications. The thermal switch can automatically control the on/off function of your fireplace blower fan. Easy to install, plug and play.
Thermostat Switch Features:
①Dimensions: 2 1/2 (L) x 1 3/4 (W) x 1 (H).
②Automatic Working : Temperature switch activate (turn on) at approximately 120°F and shut off at approximately 90°F (+/- 5°F tolerance).
③Strong magnet: Easy to install in a place where you couldn't drill to mount.
④NOTE: Blower will not start until thermodisc is heated to approximately 120° F.
High Temperature Resistant Wire:With female connectors on both ends.

This works and the wires are high temperature rated at least higher than whatever is behind the magnet. The magnet or glue behind it is not high temp rated. See the pic attached. I found this out after the 2nd use. After about 2 hrs running the fireplace with this installed on the back corner of the air channel of the heatilator builder grade fireplace box, we smelled a strange smoke similar to electronic component smoke and definitely not wood. Out of safety I let the fire burn out and the next day investigated thinking the wires started melting. I was wrong but the picture shows something melting behind the magnet. I suspect it was a glue of some sort. Beware of this and place this towards the front of the firebox where it's a bit cooler. All of this should be rated for the exterior of fireplace boxes.

Installed it today, my old one fell apart in taking it off. This product worked, turned on after 17 min. And off after about 17 minutes. Hearth and Home fireplace blower. Thanks

Very easy to wire up. My fan control use to be only on and off. Now I have a fan speed control and auto thermostat. Kicks off at night automatically when the stove burns out. Would recommend.
