Got this to replace the burned out motor on my 8 year old Harman P43 pellet stove, our main source of heat on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington. Quick delivery, easy to install, fit perfectly and is very quiet. The true test will be how long it lasts. If I can get another 8 years I’ll be happy.

Just installed a few days sgo. It's quiet and it's working well so far. Way cheaper than buying from the local Harman dealer. Installation was easy except for getting the old fan blade off the old motor....needed a lot of WD-40, heating with a torch, and harsh language. Luckily I had all 3 of those on hand!

so if it works nice and is quiet why not 5 stars?simple answer it should be supplied with the mounting plate or have it available, you will need to cut the shaft destroy the fan seriously wreck the old motor to get the mounting plate off, this is because the fan will always seize to the motor shaft and the set screw will definitely be frozen.you will need heat, metal saws and a lot of adult beverages to get it off., that's JUST to get the mounting plate off, to get the fan out os easy to swap the plate not easy.the set screw is also a T15 torx not an allen, also watch the fan depth it is critical to get it correct so it doesn't hit the plate or exhaust tube remember it gets HOT so it will expand.huge advantage is it is very quiet, longevity to be determined

My pellet stove runs quietly with this replacement motor. It was a bit challenging to replace, but I don't usually work on my pellet stove. It took 2 of us to figure it out.

Motor seems to be as well made as the OEM motor in our 2011 Harman Accentra insert. As mentioned in other reviews, you'll need to carefully take the old fan blade wheel and motor off the mounting plate, which will be covered with crud. That plate will need to be reused. After disassembly, you'll probably need to replace some of the mounting bolts and nuts. The new fan blade wheel is about 1/4 inch larger than the original and did not fit in the chassis of the exhaust housing of the Harman. I had to reuse that old fan wheel, which fit perfectly on the new shaft. The wing nuts that hold the mounting plate to the housing were frozen in place, which added some time to the swap.A bit of patience and PB Blaster are needed on this fix.
