Our family used this set at gatherings this summer & found it to be good quality. Kids thru adults played games & had no problems with any of the pieces. Even after being whacked pretty hard, (there is always someone wanting to send the ball to the neighbors yard), we did not have any chips, cracks, or damage to balls or mallets. Worth the cost for all the fun everyone had & look forward to using it again next summer.

With my grandsons stuck in their backyard all summer due to this coronavirus this has been a welcomed addition to provide hours of fun. It is a good size for kids and while it might not be the sturdiest the price is right. It won't last forever but I wanted something affordable and this works.

This was a pretty good set. Construction seems fine and I do not see any cracking yet. The only problem is that the bag will only work if you unscrew the heads on the mallets every time. I could see that being a problem for durability over time, so I just have to stack them in the corner of the shed.

The only thing that's happened so far is the rubber ends have come off of one of the rackets, which I believe I can just glue to keep it on better. Otherwise this is a sturdy, well-made set. I wish I didn't have to take apart the rackets to put it away in the case every time, but at least it has a case. So far my kids are enjoying it and I have nostalgia from my childhood!

Trying to put the sticks together and they did not want to screw in. It looked like a wallowed out while that I was suppose to screw the stick into. Never could screw one together. The other one come undone. We finally got to play so it's OK. But if get a better set of I were u

If you are looking for a cheap croquet set that you don't expect to last the summer; this is the one! If I had paid any more than $25, I would have sent it back. Sloppy paint job, split wood on the mallet heads and Oh! It doesn't fit in the carrying/storage case without dissembling. The first time we used them, one of the plastic ends on the mallet cracked. My advice; spend a little more and get one that's better quality.

This well-made croquet set was a present for my excellent son-in-law on his terrific promotion. When I visited him and my daughter, they and their daughters and I all played several rounds of croquet. A fun time was had by all. A great value for the money for a game everyone in the family can play.

Im not sure if serious croquet players would like this but for the occasional family use, I would definitely reccomdnd this. Nicely packaged and the quality should provide years of enjoyment if not abused.

Nothing wrong with this set. I bought 2 different brands. I do prefer the other set that’s $15 dollars more. This set has plastic capped mallets. The franklin set is solid wood and better. But this set still works fine

Cute set but the sticks don't fit in the bag once assembled. Also, the plastic tips on both ends of the heads fall apart after a game or two. The stick screws in the head but the fit is not very great so it tends to unscrew all the time.
