These chairs remind me of the chairs my grandparents had when I was a kid growing up. We used to sit in them on hot summer afternoons and talk about everything. Now, I can do the same with my grandchildren. These chairs are built with the same quality of those chairs from long ago. They feel solid! Being sold as a two-pack, they are a good value. The enamel finish is is very thick. I accidentally hit the chairs with the tools several times while assembling them and it didn't leave a scratch. The clamshell style of the chairs and teal color are very attractive. They are the perfect complement for my yellow house!

These chairs feel very sturdy. The metal is about the same thickness as the vintage set of clam chairs that I have. The powder coat feels like it will be very durable. Assembly was quick and easy. If you’re going to put them together alone, you should have a ratchet strap on hand as you have to squeeze the legs together to get the seat screws in. I believe the tension on the legs is necessary keep the center piece of the leg structure tight. Very happy with this purchase. It sure beats spending months finding a used vintage set and taking the time to restore them.

A little difficult to assemble by yourself but I am living proof it can be done. They are beautiful and comfortable to sit in.

I flip houses and have no trouble assembling things, BUT THIS IS HORRIBLE! I didn’t tighten anything but could not get the holes for the legs to align. 4 hours of fighting to do it. Loosened other bolts even more but nope. The are stunning chairs. Pretty, sturdy and likely comfy.

Relatively straight forward assembly - the first one took awhile but others went much faster. Appears to have good paint quality and a heavier gauge steel than the ones I bought at Kmart 30 years ago

The other reviews regarding assembly were correct. Very difficult to assemble. The instructions don’t work, there was a utube video that helped some but still did not solve all issues. Finally came up with a solution but had to modify a bit. Chair is good quality but it is very stiff.
