I couldn't be happier with this dish! It came within one day of ordering, was fully intact, and was surprisingly hefty. It is also a rather beautiful piece, and seems capable of fitting both East and West coast butter, as advertised. Definitely would buy again!

The butter dish accommodates a full stick of butter with ease. The glass is thick. The little knob on top makes it easy to lift it up. A pleasant addition to the dining table or breakfast tray.

Much better size that the smaller 7inch one. The 7 inch is too small and causes the butter stick to get smashed and smeared on the lid but the 8 inch is the perfect size.

This is the product you want if you want to pick it up by the top handle. I bought others and the top handle was too small for this old codger to grasp. It is great weight and style.

Exactly what I was looking for in a Butter dish. Very thick glass, and larger than I expected even though it gave measurments lol. It could probably hold two sticks of butter.

This was the extra long butter dish. The dimensions they list are NOT inside dimensions. This butter dish does NOT fit Canadian butter. It needs to be cut down, something I was trying to avoid. Product is heavy but the lid will keep bugs and cats out.
