Scotch-Brite Radial Bristle Disc, using proprietary 3M Ceramic Abrasive Grain and molded, flexible bristles, provides more surface contact than wire brushes and maintains abrasive property throughout the life of the disc. If you make handmade jewelry this product is for you! I make handstamped bracelets and these do an amazing job of polishing them. You do need a Dremel or . I highley recommend the Foredom Flex Shaft over the Dremel, but on to Scotch-Brite Radial Discs. These are great for polishing and are about your middle grade of roughness. They won't remove deeper scratches, but will help with very light ones and just smooth out texture for rougher discs. They are very flexible and will work great for rings or bracelets. I do recommend only using 3 at a time instead of 6 (whish is max number at one time). I have noticed with more on they tend to curly out and makes them wear out quicker.I also apperciate that they do not make very much dust, and are easy to tell different grits apart by their color.Make sure you install them the correct way or it WILL damage them.Would I Buy Them Again? YES

I had a friend recommend these to me. I use them to clean rust and grime off of small metal pieces while using my Dremel. It is my experience that I need to stack 3 of them together for my usage. Considering what I am using them for, I believe they last a long time.Being the type of abrasive they are, they do not remove the metal (provided its not too soft) but cleans the surface.

These are great for their recommend application polishing jewelery prior to buffing. I use the to clean silver around stones set with epoxy and polishing away oxidizer after stamping. You get a surface that goes to buffed high polish on a flex shaft tool very quickly.

These abrasive disk were 1” 50 grit, I use them to deburr a small machined area, on a soft Pewter material. As expensive as these disk are… they really should be more durable…The supplier is VERY SLOW to ship… I placed an order on May 31, 2022 today is July 21,2022, and I still have not received shipmentI WILL NOT order them from this source again…!!

These are a lifesaver cleaning intricate aluminum parts. Been great for cylinder heads. But they wear very fast and not great value for the price

Delivery was slow - 3 weeks. Secondly, there are no instructions, so I don't know whether to use one disc or three. I don't know what speeds to use them at. Do I put them in the chuck of a Dremel or a drill? I put them in the chuck of a Dremel. I wanted them to get into the crevices of a rocking chair I was renovating. They didn't seem to remove anything. Are they in fact polishing and not abrasive discs? I won't be buying these again.
