I've used this for cookie dough and banana bread and like the option of not using the cutting blade. It works great. I can't wait to try it on pizza dough.

I bought this dough blade for my 14 cup Cuisinart food processor and it is a bitter disappointment. The blades are stubby and quite a bit shorter than the steel blade. I double checked the numbers and it’s supposed to be the right one for my machine so I decided to give it a try. All it did was throw the dough against the sides of bowl and the blade spun wildly. I scraped the bowl and tried again and this time it smeared the dough on the bottom of the bowl while the blade spun wildly. I tried to find a video of someone actually using this blade in the 14 cup processor so I could see what I was doing wrong but I couldn’t. However, I did find an America’s Test Kitchen video and tutorial for making dough in a food processor and Step #1 said to skip the dough blade and use the steel blade. Nuff said.

I am not the best pastry maker in the world and have getting good results with the food processor, I was excited to try this attachment to see if it took things up a notch. Tried it for the first and was disappointed compared to the metal blade. Like another reviewer mentions I think the plastic blades are too shorted lots of the flour etc is left untouched on the sides of the bowl.
