This is a perfect replacement blade for my ice cream maker. It’s made of sturdy stainless steel and definitely has a solid, weighty feel. I’ve used it several times to make ice cream and it hasn’t let me down yet. We really love that it’s dishwasher safe, so it’s really easy to clean up. Highly recommend this for anyone looking for a replacement blade.

I wanted to get this so I would have a spare in case I accidently broke my blade in my Ninja Creami. This is a review for the replacement blade for the Ninja Creami "Deluxe" (NC501) which is a little bigger than the original one. Keep in mind that the "real Ninja blade" directly from Ninja can be purchased slightly cheaper than this one on their website.I thought this was going to be slam dunk review just saying that it was exactly like the original, but I was thrown a curve that caused me to investigate possible reasons why it might not be. The jury is still out whether my findings are conclusive or not. So here's what happened. While I was using the clone for the first time processing a tub of Strawberry Ice Cream on the "Ice Cream" setting, the machine let out some strange "straining/grinding" noises while it was processing it. Not once, but twice. Hmmm, I said to myself. It just so happens that I had made two batches of the same strawberry ice cream, so when I processed the second one several day's later, I put the original Ninja blade on to process it to see if it would make the same noise. And guess what? No strange sounds. I couldn't see that the straining/grinding noise had caused any damage. It just seemed odd. So I further investigated looking for any differences I could find between the clone and the original and I finally did find one. When you hold the clone blade up to the bare spindle on the bottom of the power head and twist it on, it isn't as secure as the original Ninja blade is. Meaning that it has a little more play in it. Also, these blades are magnetized to help them stay attached to the spindle and the clone's magnetization is not as strong as the Ninja's is. So that's what I found to be different. I have since tried processing frozen deserts again with the clone blade with no issue's whatsoever. It seems to work just fine for other ice creams and sorbets I have made. I don't know if it was just the strawberry ice cream that pushed the limit? But I think I am going to use the original blade from now on and just keep this one for backup.

This blade is a near perfect match to the original! It is strong and clicks in just like the original. Nice to have an extra one if the other is dirty or whatever may be the case. It cleans well, we run it through the dishwasher. Highly recommend!

The product is simply a replacement blade and it is such a great cost considering how much it would cost to get a new machine. This product is a small life saver if your blade breaks.
