We get a huge box of plastic food wrap from Costco. it is 15x6.5x5 inches, which is OK, but the box has all sorts of advertising on it and is really ugly. My wife wanted something to put it in, so searched for wood boxes. Nothing was large enough, so searched for bread boxes.. Some were OK but too small, others had front door so would have to take it out to pull off a sheet to cover somethingDid find a couple like this one, but they were too small. Finally on Amazon saw this and it was just exactly the right size, but the picture had a dark blue and our kitchen is all white. Almost went by it, but opened the listing and to our delight, there were many colors, including white.Just got it this morning and it was extremely well packed. It was in a box with two plastic protectors on each side that fit perfectly into the cardboard shipping box.It is very good-looking, well made, and our plastic wrap box fit in as though it had been custom made. The metal is a little thin and probably could be dented easily but don't see how that would happen if careful. The top fits perfectly and is easy to open and close. And as some other reviewer wrote, it does not have BREAD printed on it, which IMHO is stupid. And unlike some others, it does not have anything printed on the outside. Looks beautiful on our countertop. My wife loves it.

Although we have 2.5 baths, our family of 5 shares this full bathroom as our main one. Between cleaning products, bath toys, hair tools, hair accessories and wayyyy too many infrequently used hair and skincare items, this room is packed to the brim. Despite my best intentions, my stuff always ends up filling one of the two sinks and all over the counter. The stuff I use daily takes up too much room for my makeup bag and I’m terrible about putting things away just to bring them back out hours later. This seems like the perfect solution! Now my most frequently used products can remain “out†without actually being out. The box itself was super easy to assemble, took me maybe 15 minutes tops. Seems sturdy enough for my use and is simultaneously roomy without taking up too much space.

I bought this awhile back and I still love this bread box! It’s easily wipeable and easy to clean. I also love that it doesn’t say ‘Bread’ or anything on it - I just wanted a simple, large and white bread box. This one fits a LOT, if you want it to. I’m always surprised at how much I can fit! I can fit English muffins, another loaf of bread and usually some rolls. I can sometimes even fit one other shallow package of rolls or English muffins on top and still close the lid. My only complaint is it can make a squeaking sound against the quartz if you drag it to move it but honestly I don’t see as an issue. I may put something under it but you can also pick it up instead of dragging it. Highly recommend!

Update: 5/9/24I am bumping this up from 2 to 4 stars. Had this for quite awhile and it's held up nicely. I recently needed something to hold pumping supplies that would be solid, fully enclosed, and decent looking on a dresser and this came to mind so I bought another one. Again, there are some flaws like a scratch and bubbling paint but the overall construction is very solid and I like how the lid opens all the way back out of the way. I still think it's a tad pricey for an item with flaws but I am still pleased with the purchase because it is exactly the type of thing I need to hold items I want to keep clean and easily accessible. If you want a solid storage or bread box I would recommend only if some flaws won't bother you.Original ReviewGot this to gift to someone but due to the packaging it arrived with a big dent in the top so I was unable to use for the purpose I bought it for. There were thin pieces of foam only around the sides. Nothing on the top or bottom inside a pretty thin cardboard packaging. It was delivered just in it's package and not in a box. The item itself seems pretty sturdy and I like how it closes. Seems like it would be a good bread box. It's a bit large so could hold more than 1 loaf of bread. But if you don't have a lot of counter space it will be too bulky. Very easy to clean. A bit pricey for what it is but seems like it would last. I was going to return it because of the dent but I really liked how solid it was so decided to keep it to use in my closet. I am actually using it to hold feminine products and it works really well for that purpose to keep them together without getting squished and in something sealed that isn't plastic which is something I had been looking for. Definitely more than I would have spent on something to use in my closet but I actually like it a lot. If they could package it better I would for sure recommend. But I can only give it a partial recommendation because you might get it with a dent on the top which makes it completely non-usable as a countertop item.

I purchased the bamboo one for my kids to have easier access to sourdough slices. Put together in less than 10 minutes. This would fit at least 3 large loaves of sourdough.

J'ai acheté cette boîte à pain car j'étais tannée d'avoir des pains et biscuits qui trainent sur le comptoir. Cette boîte me permet de ranger un pain tranché et un paquet de pain style hamburger ou hotdog. Elle est très élégante et a un beau fini alors c'est beaucoup plus agréable d'avoir mon comptoir bien rangé.

The box latches well and has plenty of room for a loaf of bread along with buns or other goods. It's attractive too.

The colour matches the image and it is a very nice bread box. You can fit more then a loaf in it, so it can hold a bag of bagels and a loaf at the same time. Very nice for the money.
