I prefer not using disposable bags. These bags not only decrease that need but also keep my Artisan bread fresh and keeps the crust crisp. The price was great for 4 large bags.

I really like these because of the plastic liner. I bought the bees wax lined ones, expensive, and don’t like them. Hard to clean.

As someone who loves baking bread and is trying to reduce my waste, I decided to try out the Augshy Linen Bread Bags to reduce my dependence on plastic bags and wraps.Pros:Eco-friendly: The Augshy Linen Bread Bags are made from natural linen, which is an eco-friendly material that can be composted at the end of its life. They helped me reduce my use of single-use plastic bags and paper wrappers, which is great for the environment.Keeps bread fresh: The Augshy Linen Bread Bags kept my bread fresh for several days. They allowed the bread to breathe, which prevented it from getting soggy or moldy. One key thing I have done is to cut my bread slice from the center so I can fit the bread half back together (Limiting exposure).Easy to use: The Augshy Linen Bread Bags were easy to use. They had a drawstring closure that kept the bread secure, and they were large enough to hold different sizes of bread.Durable: The Augshy Linen Bread Bags were durable and held up well after multiple uses and washes. They didn't shrink or stretch, and the fabric was thick enough to protect the bread from damage.Cons:Limited designs: The Augshy Linen Bread Bags only come in one design, which may not be everyone's preference. It would be great if they offered more options to choose from.Wrinkles easily: The linen fabric of the Augshy Linen Bread Bags wrinkles easily, which can make them look less attractive. However, this doesn't affect their functionality.Requires washing: The Augshy Linen Bread Bags require washing after each use, which may be a hassle for some people who are used to using single-use bags. However, they are easy to wash and can be machine-washed and dried. I do not wash mine after every use.Can be expensive: The Augshy Linen Bread Bags are more expensive than traditional plastic bags or paper wrappers. However, they are a better investment in the long run as they are reusable and eco-friendly.Overall, I would recommend the Augshy Linen Bread Bags to anyone who is looking for an eco-friendly and effective way to store their bread. Their eco-friendliness, ability to keep bread fresh, ease of use, and durability make them a great option. However, their limited designs, tendency to wrinkle, requirement for washing, and higher cost may be a drawback for some users.

I bought this to keep my sourdough bread in. Alone it lets in too much air and within a few days, dries out the bread. With the addition of an open ziploc bag, it keeps the bread moist and fresh.

While the bags were sturdy and well made, they were not very effective for our application. Usually, we make our own breads. We either store them in a reused bread sack or wrap it up in Cellophane where we get 5-7 days before it’s either gone or it gets dried out and hard. With these bags by day 3 the bread was as hard as a brick. If you are someone who makes bread for holidays and wants to transport it or have a table show piece then these bags are probably good for that. As for using for more than 2 days, I would not recommend.

I had read that linen was a good thing to keep your freshly made sourdough bread in, so I bought several of these for myself, my daughters and a good friend, since we all make homemade sourdough. But this just allows the sourdough to dry out and get hard... I was very disappointed. They are a decent size ... you can get your loaf in there and they do have a cute stamp on the front but as far as function, don't waste your time, your bread, or your money.

The dimensions of the bag as described by the seller are accurate. When you bake larger loaves of bread, as I do, it is great to have a bag the loaves will fit into. I also use the bags for bulking proofing in the fridge. I put the dough in the shaping basket and then the bag. The bag allows the dough to rise without making a mess in the fridge. Please don't hesitate to purchase these bags, they are quality bags at a competitive price.

Recently started to make homemade bread after a number of years buying store bought bread. The homemade bread isn’t made with any preservatives and we store the bread in a wooden bread box on a kitchen counter. The cotton bread bags can be opened to allow a 2 lb. loaf to be stored then tied shut with the strings. We’ve used the bags for a couple of weeks now and the loaves have stayed fresh stored in the bags and bread box. We’ve hand washed a bag and hung the bag on a line to dry when we had a loaf of cinnamon raisin bread stained one of the bags. Washed clean and dried without issue. I would purchase again if we needed more bags.
