Triple Wrap Rail Raver
The rail saver is what connects the leash to your surfboard.
The triple-wrap version provides extra strength as well as protecting the tail of your surfboard from damage by the tension on the leash during a wipeout.
Stainless Anti-Tangle Swivels
The two leash swivels are both heavy duty stainless steel pieces to provide maximum strength and prevent tangling of the leash.
2" Neoprene Ankle Cuff
Each leach has a super comfortable 2" Neoprene ankle cuff with a key storage pocket and quick release tab.
Max Strength Polyurethane Cord
We use 7mm cord for all our 6ft standard, 7ft, 8ft and 9ft leashes while the 6ft Comp has a 6mm cord and the 10ft leash a super strength 8mm cord!

How to Size a Leash for Your Surfboard
The team at Culture Supply recommend choosing a leash that is similar to the size of your surfboard....under 6ft through 6'4 board then go with a 6ft leash. When you reach the half-sizes then it's a preference on shorter V.s longer.
BUT if you are in doubt and concerned with having the safest length leash for your surfboard, size UP. Example; You have a 6'6 board then size to a 7ft leash in this circumstance.
Having too long a leash causes drag and tangles while too short a leash can allow the board to hit you when falling off.

I bought the 9-foot leash for my husband, who's an avid surfer and needed a longer leash for his bigger boards. He thinks it’s a great option: solid, affordable, and priced around $24. It’s a reliable spare with a comfortable strap that's easy to undo. While it’s not the highest-end option, it doesn’t feel cheap and offers excellent value for the price.

This leash is a good value and works. It is not high end and the padding is a little on the thin side. The Velcro works good. No complaints there. It is good for most people in most conditions. I will keep it as a backup. It is a good length for short boards up to 6’.

The 8 ft leash is 8'8" total if you include the rail saver. Decent spare leash to have around. Strap is comfortable and easy to undo. Not as high quality as my XM, which costs twice as much, but it doesn't seem cheap and is appropriately priced for the cost of 24 dollars at the time.
