  • Plumbing Protection: Our pipe heating cable uses electricity to heat the entire length of the hose in order to keep the hose above the 59℉ (15°C) so that at -40°F (-40°C) in winter night, the water will flow smoothly through your hose as well, due to ordinary water hose may freeze water due to low temperature
  • Intelligent Energy-Saving: When our pipe heating cable detects that the water temperature is below 41°F (5°C) , the heating system starts to work and stops when the water temperature reaches 59℉ (15°C), so that you can avoid high electricity bills due to long continuous heating
  • Safety Guaranteed: Operation with 120V and an external ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) power outlet prevents overheating problems due to short circuits, and built-in wires are completely wrapped to avoid our pipe heat cables malfunction due to water seepage
  • Easy Installation: All you need to do is lay our heating tape straight or wrap it around the water pipe and secure it with the supplied fiberglass tape; and if you want to test it, please put the thermostat in ice water, plug it in, wait for a few minutes you can feel the cable heating up
  • Customer Service: 3-year after-sales service, we're always pay more attention on you and want to receive your feedback of using our pipe heater, and if you have any questions, please let us know at any time

Excellent heat tape. Self regulating feature ensures tape will work when required and will last a long time. Excellent value for the price.

I have a small cabin on piers which, for years, had the mechanical room below and I would need to heat the space each winter to keep my water source, filters, pressure tank and other items from freezing. I have since moved these to a closet inside of the structure which left my source water line open to the elements after deconstructing the mechanical room to keep rodents from building a home. I used this pipe heater in conjunction with a fiberglass wrap for the 18' of exposed 1" PEX. Three days into single digits temps and I forgot I had made this modification a few months earlier. We're almost done with freezing temps for the year and I can say I have yet to have my water line freeze. Well worth the $$ and time I invested on the install.

Great product and works as expected. Be sure to tape on the thermostat to the pipe, not doing so will keep the unit constantly on.

It worked as advertised and prevented the cold water pipe from preezing. It would have been helpful if instruction on how to place the tempature sensor were included. In addition the cable is very stiff and bending in sharp turns is a challenge. However, overall it worked, delivered on time and priced reasonable.

Here in south Georgia we don't have a lot of below freezing weather but when it was coming I would go and cover up the well and plug in a trouble light to have some heat so it wouldn't freeze. What bunch of screwing around. Purchased the heat tape, installed it. Which was a snap. Works great, no worries of pipes freezing. Should of didcthis years ago. Daaa.

This has a study design and seems durable. I just got it to help get rid of some of the snow and ice around here. It makes walking paths safer.

I am thinking it might be fun to work for these folks that manufacture this piece of uselessness because the only conclusion I am able to come up with is that they must be practical jokers. Imagine the non-stop fun of laughing until tears run down your face when another one goes in the box fresh off the assembly line. The 'ribbon', at least 'appears' to be just a section of residential, whole house electrical wiring, taped at both ends (for waterproofing... right...hey I have actually used a spring form pan in a water bath and I can tell you that you'd better be mighty precise with that foil around the seam b/c it only takes one bad wrap...) and fitted with a defunct 'thermostat' that is apparently added for aesthetics. No instructions, no suggestions, I suspect that they must not know either. I don't know why they don't go ahead and make something up just to see if you'll try to follow them. It is entirely too rigid to 'flex' for wrapping a pipe without bending/degrading the wiring inside the plastic sleeve. The 'dial' on the 'thermostat' does not: move, read-out or turn the item on or off. I tried 'willing' it to turn on but my pipe(s) still froze (too much fluoride to the pineal, I guess)... and... maybe it's just me... but I couldn't shake that annoying muffled sound of laughter coming from the translucent electrical plug which must be where the TX/RX radio is implanted and, by the way is the one and only indication you will ever see confirming that the item has power connected to it (when the pretty colors light up inside the plastic translucent plug). Lastly, someone there 'muss is' easily impressed to be able to boast over a (5) foot cord. You heard me... five whole feet). Which means IF you happen to have an electrical outlet inches away from the subject pipe(s), you are indeed one lucky sonofagun! Since you are unable to control the 'self-regulating' thermostat... go ahead... have some fun, let's see what it will do left to its' own devices, if you will. Maybe it'll burn up, maybe it won't. Awww... the fun just never stops at the factory...
