I purchased this last week, was delivered yesterday and just finished installing it. It only took about 40 minutes to install and was a perfect fit for my 2010 Impala LT. Very sturdy construction. Fishing the side bolts was easy, the rear two take a bit more patience. Also the rear two bolts are a bit longer. As one of the other posters stated before, it is easier to remove the exhaust bracket (two easy to reach bolts) that supports the hangers rather than the hangers themselves. You don't have to even jack up the vehicle

Didn't have to unbolt anything related to the bumper. Just lowered the muffler temporarily, by unbolting the muffler support at the rear, and pulled off the rubber hanger (didn't have to unbolt it) that is just forward of the rear tire.Four short bolts go in the frame (short to clear the muffler), and two long bolts go in the bumper support. This 12252 model is the same as the 122523 except it doesn't include the ballmount, so it's a little cheaper.

Perfect fit. Durable thick steel. Confidence it will be tough enough to handle towing my 13' Boston whaler with a car. Redneck fabulous.

Fairly easy install. Had to bend the wire fish to get the bolts in the two hole closest to the back of the car. Without a ball installed on the receiver, it's practically invisible under my car.

I love it. I'm excited about it. is that odd? lol. Anyway, things to be aware of: 1>there was some kind of bracket to hold some kind of cylinder behind my bumper on my 9c1 police package 09 impala. I had to bend excess part of that bracket out of the way with an adjustable wrench so this would mount up. Make sure you put the 2 longer bolts in the cross member. Don't buy used unless it has the spring tool or unless you're going to weld it up. The wire harness connecting wires are under the right tail light. (see youtube) the colors pretty much match up, you don't need the expensive plug and play kit if you're handy with doing minor electrical wiring. wear glasses, dirt and stuff will fall into your eyes, and your shirt will get dirty. If you have a dewalt 18v impact wrench, it might be easier to unbolt the exhaust hangers. see the youtube videos. Anyway i'm very pleased! thanks! Took me about an hour to install including correcting my mistakes and figuring things out above.

Bolted right up without any problems. Barely shows under the bumper, but it works great for our bike carrier. I have zero intentions of towing anything with this, but it is built very solidly.

It was an exact fit on my 2012 Impala. It took about an hour to install it with no problems a all. I recommend that instead of removing the each rubber muffler hanger, it is easier to remove the two bolts on each side holding the brackets to each muffler, I have two on my car.
