This model of the Kia Sedona is already equipped with threaded mounting and wiring for tow packages. I don't know how it could be any easier to install. Shout out to the KIA manufacturing/engineering for that and shame on the KIA service shops for charging so much to install tow packages.The kit itself is heavy grade with clean welds and coating by a reputable company. Its rated higher than the OEM and I personally feel like it is better quality and looks better too. Don't forget to buy the wiring kit that plugs right into the vehicles existing wiring harness and mounting bracket to hold the connector.I installed mine in under 2 hours with nothing but a screw driver, a socket wrench, and a box knife to cut the driver side plastic under panel section to accommodate the kit. If you know how to use those 3 tools, do not be afraid to DIY this kit and save yourself hundreds $$$. There are several great videos on youtube for installation.

This fit our 2015 Sedona EX perfectly. We've used it for pulling our bike/cargo rack. We've carried bikes and luggage for long trips. This hitch DOES come with the necessary bolts, washers and instructions for the proper installation. We did take it to a mechanic because it was quicker and they had the tools to make sure the bolts were torqued to correct specifications. Me, I would've turned it until my hands were red just to be sure but I'm no machine. I wanted to be absolutely sure it was nice and snug. It uses 6 bolts and you have to remove some pluglike pins from underneath to reveal the location where you have to mount it with the bolts. Its beautiful and great. For doing what we do with it, we would definitely recommend it.

I bought this Curt trailer hitch to attach to my 2020 Kia Sedona for hauling bicycles and extra luggage. This was my first time installing a hitch of any kind, and the straightforward directions included in the packaging helped make the install an easy process. The most difficult part was lowering the exhaust without exhaust pliers. If I could do it again, I’d buy a pair to help speed things along. Also, make sure that you have a decent torque wrench to tighten it to the exact specifications. Overall this Curt hitch is definitely sturdy, and I’d feel comfortable hauling up to the maximum allowable load.

WOW WOW WOW!!I can not say enough good things about this product. It was delivered in less than 24 hours from the time of order, installation was among the easiest things I've ever done. Literally 6 bolts start to finish. And the step by step instructions that arrived with the hitch covered every part of the process.Then there's quality. Strong, well built and durable. It's very apparent that this hitch will still be in its prime when the vehicle is a weathered rust heap.Price? More than fair and far less expensive than this same product is sold for elsewhere.If I could ten-star this experience I would. I truly hope I have the need and opportunity to buy from Curt again soon.

As a welder and machinist, I can appreciate well made metal products. This is definitely one of them. Installing it in our Kia Sedona was a little tricky as dropping the back end of the exhaust system was almost mandatory to reach the hanging bolts. But the hitch itself lined up and fit beautifully. The paint was thick to last and no issues at all bolting it in after the exhaust was taken care of.

Great product just don't buy from Trends Auto. Easy to install, need a torque wrench that can get to 86 foot pounds.

First of all, thanks to the previous reviewers that let me have the courage to order and install this by myself. I've never done works like this before. Summer is here soon, and my kids will be asking me to take them for biking like previous summers. My previous bike rack, that fits on the 2003 Sedona lift door, doesn't go on the 2016 Sedona. A good option is to have a hitch mount bike rack, and I can use the hitch for other purposes too. I'm a DYI nut, so if it is doable, I like to do it myself.The package arrived today. Since it's a beautiful sunny day, I crawled under my van, and began the work. One previous reviewer mentioned that he only had to remove one exhaust hanger. That was a huge tip because the other two hangers are deep inside near the middle of the van. At first, I felt taking the hanging bush off was an impossible task because it didn't budge, even after spraying some WD-40 on it. My next option was to order an exhaust hanger removal tool (which I might never use again). It turned out that the lubricant takes some moment to lubricate the entire bush hole. I inserted a screw driver, wiggled and pried, and sprayed more WD-40 to the interior of the bush. After a few moment the hanger was out. (I did watch YouTube videos for help).Since the van was not jacked up, inserting the right end under the exhaust was a challenge, but not too difficult. The difficult part was to get the first bolt to latch on. I had to use some boxes and books to prop it up, since I was doing it alone. In that case installing it without lifting the van up was a benefit. You could use the car jack to prop up the hitch too.Within an hour, the work is done. I'm quite proud of myself to say the least. With the saving, I could buy a nice hitch mount bike rack.Happy summer!

Great hitch. Curt never fails. Fitment, quality, ease of install all perfect. One thing, don't remove all the hangers. Just remove the one holding the axle back and unbolt the axle back. Lot easier. And you can still use the trim piece just need to be cut.

Easy install, need 2 people or jack stands but simple to install, I cut my the plastic around for the driver side instead of removing the cover all together. Muffler doesn’t have to be removed just the one bracket off to swing it over but it does take some effort

The product is awesome. Packaging was rough when it arrived from UPS, however product was well packaged inside. I would suggest taking a look under your vehicle first to see if your weld nuts are rusty or not... if they are you may need to re tap the holes. I had to do this. Used an M12 1.25†tap to clean up the threads. Take your time and use some cutting oil. Once the homes were cleared it was a 30 minute install with an extra set of hands. Make sure you have a. Can of lubricant like Wd40 on hand. I was able to put my plastic shield under the driver side back on after by cutting a 1/2†by 8 3/4†split in the plastic to make way for the hitch.This arrived within two days of ordering.
