Well-made product, perfect fit for my '14 MDX. Easy install - did it by myself in 20 min with a pair of jack stands (it is heavy, so if you don't have jack stands, might need an extra pair of hands to support the plate during installation). Make sure you tighten the bolts to specs (138 ft*lb is a lot of torque - I originally put it in using a regular wrench, and thought I had it pretty tight, but when later checked with a borrowed torque wrench, found I was well under the 138 :)) Good design, all the holes aligned perfectly with the ones in the vehicle. The packaging could be better, but mine came in a decent shape - no bends or scratches that some other reviewers reported. Once installed, looks and functions great!

I put this hitch on our 2022 Honda pilot. The instructions were easy to follow and accurate. I use this hitch to hold my bicycle rack on our vehicle. It is a heavy class 3 hitch with a nice quality glossy black paint finish. I would recommend this hitch for purchase. Curt Manufacturing makes hitches for all kinds of makes and model vehicles.

I was really unsure about installing my own and so glad I did. The reviews helped me know what to do. I didn’t really need to clean the threads but did use a tooth brush to see if anything was caught. 3 of us held it in place which made it much easier to hold up. 7/8 inch is the right size socket to use. I am using the hitch for a bike rack so I didn’t worry about tightening to a certain torque. I highly recommend this hitch!

Installed in less than 30 min. It is heavy so another set of hands is really helpful. Torquing the bolts to 139 lb. was the most challenging part of the install. UPS delivered it without any packaging so it did have a few scrapes but not too bad. I prefer this one to the OEM Honda hitch as this one doesn't require you to cut into the plastic bumper cover.

Nice hitch, was able to bolt this on in garage without disassembling the vehicle body parts. The only small gripe is that the clearance in receiver is slightly larger than my ball mounts, and makes a little clunking noise at times if not tongue loaded a bit.Sometimes I'll shim it with a thin piece of plastic slid in a couple of sides to eliminate the movement & noise.

This hitch is made of heavy duty steel and the finish appears to be good quality. It was a perfect fit for a 2016 Honda Pilot, curving around the spare tire and remaining mostly hidden behind the bumper. The holes in the hitch aligned perfectly with the factory bolt holes on the frame of the vehicle. Installation hardware (6 bolts and 6 washers) is included.Before you start the install, make sure to clean up the bolt holes on the vehicle so you don't find yourself holding the hitch trying to thread bolts into holes that they won't go into. For cleaning, you can first try a wire brush like for copper pipes but I had to use a thread chaser (size: M14x1.5).Once the vehicle is prepped, it is quite easy to install - it doesn't take long to thread and torque 6 bolts. As others have mentioned, it takes a fairly strong individual to torque the bolts to spec while lying under the vehicle, so it wouldn't hurt to enlist a 2nd person to help if you're in doubt. If you like cheap added security and aren't expecting to remove the hitch soon, consider putting some thread locker on the bolts.Overall, I would highly recommend this product.

I was a bit worried that it may block trunk sensor to work with the foot but it works perfectly. Low profile too! I had one on my 2015 Odyssey for 8 years too and no complains. East to install yourself but need extra pair of hands. Thanks

The part came in on time. Of note, if your vehicle is a couple years old, a boring brush is a must to clean out the rust in the pre-tapped bolt holes on your vehicle. Once they are cleared out the install takes 10 minutes.

The product is solid, well built and super easy to install on the 2016 Honda Pilot. For installation, the trailer hitch was supported by two jack stands and a hydraulic jack, while I torqued the bolts. I had to redo the installation threads of the car with a M14x1.5mm tap due to rust, in order to bolt in the trailer hitch.

great quality and easy to install on my 2016 Acura MDX. Usually this hitches rust up after a few years. Do your self a favor in you live in a cooler/winter environment and buy a can of plastic dip aerosol can (black) you can get this at your home hardware store and use up the entire can on it two would be even better. (read the instructions on how to apply the dip) this will protect you hitch from rusting and keeping it new looking. Use the plastic dip before you install the hitch to your car so you can get better coverage throughout. Don't forget to use copper grease the bolts so they don't seize and the outer part once installed so salt won't rush them up. This is if you think you may want remove it one day or if you lease your car you can remove it and resell it.
