My dad built an ebike carrier for the back of his motorhome. Welding 2 of these parts to the truck frame provided the platform to support the rack and allows it to rotate out of the way to access the rear compartment while loaded. Class 2 receivers are the right length, solid and strong, and weldable. He definitely recommends and would purchase them again.

I bought this to cut down to weld on a bumper I was making for my jeep and use the other half for future project. Much cheaper to buy the longer receiver than it was to buy individually. Quality and finish was decent but the outer band around the front is purely ornamental in my opinion. It was tacked on in all four corners and didn't seem to add any real support unless you decided to complete the welds all the way around rather than the quarter inch tacks in each corners.I would buy this again for sure and should fit most needs for towing
