I bought a used hitch mount bike rack on Facebook Marketplace and the seller did not have the adapter to accommodate a 2" receiver. So, he discounted the price $20.00 and I got this one. It is a solid aluminum tube that fits over your 1 1/4" piece that goes into the hitch receiver. It is painted black and will scratch but won't rust. There is only one large hole on opposing sides to accommodate your 1/2" hitch pin. I wish it also had a 5/8" hole for beefier locking pins, but oh well.This is a little pricy for what it is, but it did do the trick...

I'm searching for bike racks online so that when me and my son will go biking, I don't have to remove the tires of our bicycles and fit our bicycles inside my car. Luckily, I saw a bike rack at my favorite thrift store and I bought it right away even if the size of the bar is 1.25-inches, I'm thinking of just buying an adapter online which is this product right here. The size of my cars' hitch is not exactly 2-inches and I cannot give a 1-star rating for the seller of this product because it is clearly stated that this hitch adapter is 2-inches so when I tried inserting this adapter to my hitch, there's a play. Another one is the size of the hole, it comes with one hole which is approximately 0.52-inch and I wish it has another 5/8-inch hole so that I can fit my other locking pin but overall, this product looks durable, good quality, and well made. Should be longer - could use a larger diameter pin. I will check amazon to see if a different pin is offered to prevent the side rocking, other wise a good fit, but a longer adapter to match the length of hitch would have been desirable.

It does exactly what it is supposed to. The fit was perfect, as was the alignment of the hole for the lock pin.

Purchased this adaptor based on all the great reviews but when I put my Thule T2 Classic bike rack on, I can a lot of rattle and wobbling. Debating if I should try to fix it or return it. Maybe I got a bad one?Might consider buying another one just to see if I got a bad one or not. Be careful!

Needed to convert a 2†to 1.25†hitch and this product does the trick. It snuggly fits on my bike rack and fits easily into the hitch sleeve. Holds solidly once bolt is screed tight
