When I purchased this I thought having the lip on the end would be a good feature but sadly I was mistaken. With my weight distribution hitch there is a bracket that prevents it from inserting into the adapter far enough for the pin to line up. I had to grind a notch in the bottom of the adapter to allow my hitch to insert far enough. I probably would have been better off with the adapter that inserts fully into hitch receiver but after modification this adapter works great. The pin that came with it was long enough to fit the adapter and hitch receiver.

The only problem was the pin it comes will not pass through the original hitchbhole. Used the original pin and it worked fine.

The spacer fit snug into the Hitch opening but the pin and clip had to be forced in. The rubber protectors on the pin handle extended too far on the pin shaft and the hole for the pin clip would not fit because the pin would not extend far enough.

It's made from aluminum. It started bending right away with a short back up of my camper. Went to a trailer seller and got a good one made much better for a cheaper price.

I couldn't use this one for what I needed but it does what it says and is easy to install. It quality and heavy.

It is little long therefore it sticks farther out then I would like. If spacers were provided for a tight fit would nice.
