Works fine, as expected. I added a small amount of masking tape to tailor the fit so there is not rattle.

Just bought a new truck which has a 2 1/2 inch receiver. My previous truck, which I had for 21 years, had a 2 inch receiver. After 21 years, I had accumulated several 2 inch hitches which didn't fit my new truck. This inset works very well and allows me to use the 2 inch hitches in the 2 1/2 inch receiver of my new truck. Score!!

Not much to say, it is a bit of box section with some holes in it. As such, it is good at that. Correct sizing and hole diameters.I will update if there are any issues.

I bought this to use for a permanent hitch shackle , I threw it in my tow bag , well a few weeks ago I seen the first truck in the ditch so I pulled up to help and my pin wouldn't fit threw it !! Luckily I had my drop hitch and it got the job done , when I got home I had to drill the hole out bigger but now I don't know if I compromised the integrity..
