The hitch adapter fit perfect on my 1 1/4 hitch, just needed to add a vibration stabilizer. Is heavy duty and no issues.

I put this on my Ford focus because the thing I have on the back would hit the road when I pulled in and out of places this gave me enough lift that I needed and works really well

Kind of heavy, but strong. Thick powder coating makes tight fit into reciever.

This product is about a simple to install as anything one can buy. You stick the adapter into the 1 1/4 in. receiver on the appropriate vehicle. In my case a UTV. The product seems solidly made, and is simply two pieces of welded steel. The instructions advise one to wear safety goggles, a helmet, hearing protection, appropriate clothing, safe work space, to use common sense, and to keep spectators and children out of the area . It also says to chock the tires of the tow vehicle Really? Ultra bad case of CYA . They should be embarrassed.

It was a tight squeeze on my Audi TT225. Make sure to get dual ports just incase. Class 1 and 2 .Looks and feels like quality material.

This is pretty heavy duty and I think it will work well. I was very surprised considering the price. It is a good deal in a world where that is becoming more and more rare.

Att: Australians. This is smaller than our small hitch but it can be adjusted. In photo you can see we have used 2 anti rattles sideways on the part that connects to our car. That worked great until we could get the maxxhaul into our 4WD and camper repair shop. They got a sleeve the same size as our larger 1 1/2 inch opening and welded the sleeve over the 1 1/4 inch maxxhaul I bought from here. As you can see in second photo you can’t tell it’s been adjusted its nice and secure and it doesn’t require any anti rattle anymore. I love the fact it lifts our cargo carrier higher so we don’t have to worry about speed humps and it’s higher for easy loading. Highly recommend. Sorry it has taken a month for the review but we wanted to show it fitting nice.

My 1 1/4 inch receiver is Class I. And I need a 4 bike hitch rack, most of which come with 2 inch receiver. Did some research and decided give it try with a adapter. I am happy with this adapter for 1) it is very solid made 2) it raise the 2 inch receiver by few inches, which is important for my Impreza.This adapter add 6 inch on top of the original designed tow weight's ball position (11 inches). That means to reduce the tow weight by 30-50%. I ended up compensate the number with a 3000lbs ratchet tie down help to stabilize the bike rack. Both 1.25 and 2 inch receiver installed with a hitch tightener to reduce the play. For the 1.25 inch receiver, I did not put a lock and just get a 3/8 by 3 inch hex bolt with two nuts plus lock washer.My first run is about 40km away from home with 3 bikes around 90lbs. The whole rack stays quite stable during the trip. Will do a further cross city run next few days and see if this adapter + hitch tightener + ratchet tie down combo will last.

Lo compre para que mi canastilla de tiron quedara aunque fuera unos centimetros mas elevada sobre el nivel del suelo. A la hora de pasar los topes, se agradece mucho. Y funciono. La ocupo en viajes muy largos y ha funcionado muy bien. Siempre es importante ponerle menos peso del recomendado para no romper los puntos de soldadura en los golpes del viaje. Si lo recomiendo.

Easy to slide in. 2 mounting spots. Receiver has to be on top as per instructions.
