Your cart is empty.The CURT reducer sleeve set includes two reducer sleeves that adapt a 3" receiver tube opening to fit a 2-1/2" or 2" shank. The adapter sleeves install easily and are compatible with virtually any 3" hitch. The smaller sleeve can also be used in a 2-1/2" receiver tube opening, adapting it for a 2" shank. The gross trailer weight capacity and tongue weight capacity of this set are limited to the rating of the hitch. To finish off this reducer sleeve set, it comes with a highly durable carbide black powder coat finish, ensuring excellent rust, chip and UV resistance.

Curt has quality products and this was the best fit with least amount of wiggle on my 3" receiver I could find. Definitely a big difference in wobble vs others.

I bought this to adapt the 2-1/2 receiver to a 2" receiver. However, the little nubs that keep it from going all the way through did not allow enough depth for the hole for the receiver pin. So ground off the nubs. When I insert the hitch into the adapter, it now pushes the adapter back into the receiver too far. Next time I will buy factory one for about the same price. hopefully I can put a little weld on the end to keep it from going in too far. It is usable, but you have to be careful. If you have a heavy camper hitch it is a little awkward. So measure end of receiver to pin hole before you by. I dont know if it is just the new chevys or not that have this problem.

This reducer sleeve fit my 2021 F350 Tremor 3†receiver perfectly. I would highly recommend this well made product.

I recently bought a new F350 to tow an RV when I retire. The new truck came with a 3" receiver. I have a utility trailer and hitch hardware for a 2" receiver so I did some research and selected the Curt Receiver Adapter in order to continue using my 2" hardware. The new adapter will step my 3" receiver down to a 2.5" shank receiver hitch or a 2" shank receiver hitch. The product arrived quickly and was well packaged. It is well designed and has a lip built into each adapter which serves to align the hole for the hitch pin perfectly (this was a frequent complaint in user reviews of other products). I did notice that there is quite a bit of play in the assembly so I expect that there will be some chucking and noise once I have the utility trailer hooked up and towing. I will post an update after towing with this set-up a few times.Update 8/29/2021: I did use the adapter to tow my utility trailer about 800 miles. My utility trailer uses a 2" ball and a 2" receiver shank so I had all three pieces of the adapter assembly installed. The trailer was loaded with a large offset smoker secured in the front of the box (forward of the axle). I did notice some chucking and noise from the receiver adapter but it was not as bad as I feared. Otherwise the adapter performed flawlessly.

Open box deal. Good as new and half the price. It's a big beefy chunk of steel from a major brand. Not too much can go wrong, so it was worth taking a chance on the open box deal.

Great receiver reducer for the price, using it on a 17 F350 with a 3 inch hitch. For the price it's hard to beat and it's nice that it gives a couple size options. Only down side I can see is it does move around a bit so if you hate hearing your hitch rattle a bit don't buy this and get a proper 3" hitch.
