This is tight fit on the pin so that it stays on. It is thick enough that it shouldn't wear out too quickly.

This product works great for what it is designed to do. I had a different brand initially and if failed to stay attached to the pin when uncoupled from the hitch. And since it wouldn’t stay in place it got caught & damaged during a hookup. That does not happen with this unit. It stays in place at all times & doesn’t cause any issues during hookup or any other time.

I would have given it a five star. Other than having to take a pencil grinder to open the hole a little where it would fit over the hitch. Otherwise a very well made hitch plate ðŸ‘

Worked as it should. Fits really snug, needed a rubber mallet to pursaid it to go all the way on. Only used it for 3 trips so far but hasn't moved. Definitely easier and less messy than using grease
