The weight distribution bar and hitch system installed easily. Proper measurements will yield a level trailer. Mounting the distribution bar chain locks was easy and straightforward for any DIY person. A large torque wrench and breaker bar will aid in torquing the hitch the the receiver. Have traveled over 1500 miles with no issues. Functions as designed. Great quality.

I bought this and installed it myself onto a new travel trailer I recently purchased. The package came on time and in relatively good order. There was a hole in the bottom of the box but no parts were missing. The directions for installing were clear and understandable and there were many videos I could pull up showing how to instal both on MFG site and YouTube. I had it installed in less than 45 minutes and pulled my travel trailer home without issue. Great product and I would purchase again if needed.

Works well, does what it is supposed to do. Struggled a little with the installation to adjust the ball height to trailer hitch height. The bolts for the bar spring brackets (trailer side) were 6" and way too long for a closed frame. I had to head to the local hardware store to purchase shorter bolts that did not interfere with the battery and LP cylinders cover. Remember to grease the receivers and surfaces. For the springs, this means greasing the bars for the entire section inserted in the receiver to avoid wear/tear as well as noise.

I bought a fairly small trailer (about 4000 lbs, with 500 lb tongue weight. The Curt I bought had 1000 lb spring bars, and I figured I would get some lighter weight bars, because I got a good deal, and the rest of the hitch is the same. When I was assembling the hitch, I got out some extra 600 lb Easy Lift spring bars, and they fit perfectly! I towed the trailer 200 miles from the dealer home, and it towed beautifully! Who would have thought!

I ordered this around Oct 2021 and have used it every month since for our camping trips. It was easy to set up and we’ve not had a problem until our last trip a week ago. On our last trip, we drove over 400 miles and when we got home we noticed that the screw for the spring was sheared off. Not sure how it happened. I called Curt customer service and inquired on a replacement. The rep advised me that the part is considered “a normal wear and tear part†which was fine to me as the part is inexpensive to replace. However, it was out of stock with no eta. He offered to send out a replacement middle section since the part I needed was not available. It’s a rarity these days that companies stand by their product and are willing to help out the consumers. Great customer service.

Bought for my daughters camping trailer. The bars were bit strong (rated to 1000Ib) for her 5,000Ib trailer. Could not find lighter bars on Amazon so fitted them anyway. Install was incredibly easy. Followed the many Youtube videos on line to level the truck/trailer and appeared to work fine. Good price too!
