I bought this to replace the OEM hitch pin on my 3/4 ton pickup. The OEM pin had its 21,000 lb rating stamped on the pin. This Curt pin fits well and was one of the few that I found that claim to be rated and tested for a 21,000 lb load, matching the original equipment. Amazon's product description says it is aluminum. It is not aluminum. It is zinc-plated high-strength steel.

WORK'S !! hitch pin and non locking ,, what can u say ? held trailer jus great, but when not hauling trailer, I use a "Ford", Logo, trailer hitch cover, that is a 4th brake light, and keep's wiring from rusting, so only use haul trailer, but use locking one, when "Ford", logo n wiring protector on.
