Plenty bright and appear durable. Easy to mount to 1up rack. I purchased this because my 4-bike lateral rack blocks most of my tail lights when loaded with 2 or more bikes.Driven in rain and cold weather with no problems so far (about 1-month).In hindsight, I would also seriously consider the LED tapes for trucks with integrated white reverse lighting, although they might not be as durable as these Curt lights.

Added these to my bike rack on the hitch so my lights were further out and not behind the bike wheels. Lights work well and easy to setup. Attached these to some magnets with the included 3M tape so I could remove them and stick to various other applications.

I was extending my bike rack to four for a 2K+ mile race and figured lights were a wise play. My new SUV came with a 7-pin but after weeks of searching, this 4-pin CURT light set was the ONLY fully wired game under couple of hundred. I pared it with a WOFTD Trailer Plug Adapter 7 Pin Round to 4 & 5 Flat, and because my Kuat NV 2.0 bike rack doesn't have any flat surfaces, I mounted the sticky tape lights to a PVC moulding then velcro strapped that to the rack for east install/removal.Once I configured the mounting, the light setup was simple and it functioned great. My only complaint is that the one row of LEDs out of two that blink for directional can be a little less than ideal in daylight. You'd think they would blink both rows. Overall though, great value, easy setup, and they survived the first test of a 2300 mile trip through New England road salt and South Carolina rain & mud, protecting $30k in exposed bikes from insane drivers along the way.

I bought this mainly to solve the problem of our 2024 Kia Telluride sensing the hitch-mounted bike rack behind it and activating the Reverse Parking Collision Avoidance Assist" (PCA) system--KIA's fancy name for their annoying system that abruptly brakes when sensing an object (like a bike rack) behind it when you're in Reverse. Not only did this solve that problem (it now thinks I'm towing a trailer), but the added bonus is that the bikes and rack (Thule) are more visible from the rear. Easy to install. So far, so good. Time will tell if the lights last, but it seems to be a quality product.

I wired this up on my Harbor Freight carrier and it fits and works great. The wiring is long enough to run through the carrier, so it was protected by weather and debris. They plug right in to my trailer outlet and everything works great... brakes, directional signals and they light when I put my lights on when dark. I did attach them using zip ties as a backup to the adhesive as I suspect that may give way over time.

I added these to my bike rack, because the brake lights and turn signals are hard to see when there are bikes on the rack. They have heavy-duty double stick tape on the back of each signal, so installation is easy — as long as you pay attention to the “R†and “L†that is embossed on the signals. My SUV has a factory 7-pin connector for the trailer wiring, so I also needed an adapter to connect these lights to my SUV. With that adapter, everything went together easily and works very well.

We were away when someone said they couldn’t see our brake lights due to our bike rack. We purchased this product and now you can see the bike rack and extra light. Would highly recommend them

These light strips were extremely easy to connect and provide good illumination.It took more time to cable tie the wires to the carrier than connect the lights to the harness.
