A quick link is essentially a hook that is able to be fastened into a closed loop. This means it can be linked onto any D-ring or tie-down like a hook and just as easily secured like a seamless link in a chain. CURT quick links feature a special threaded end and barrel screw that allow them to be dependable and convenient. The threaded link requires no tools for tightening or loosening, though it does feature a hex shape that can accept a wrench for an extra tight hold. Quick link hooks can be used to connect rope, cable and chain, and they are the perfect safety accessory to maximize the security of your safety chains and trailer. Their list of possible applications also goes well beyond towing, giving you a reliable connection for rock climbing, boating, camping, setting up a swing or hammock, leashing the dog, repairing chain, fastening down cargo and more. To make sure our quick links are fit to face the outdoors and all of your undertakings, we construct them from heat-treated steel and give them a zinc-plated finish for durability and rust resistance. These things are very heavy duty! They are too big for weight machines though but I will find away to use otherwise

Bought a used trailer and it needed new safety chains. Had to figure out a way to attach the chains and found these. A bit confusing on the "working load" and "break strength" but they seem to be of good quality.

This was exactly what I was looking for. My tow vehicle’s place to hook my trailer chains was very difficult to reach and hook, so I needed something that I could attach once and easily hook the chains to. This carabiner was the answer! Now I hook up quickly and easily. I especially like that there is a tow weight rating. I had gone to my hardware store, but the wanted $12.99 for each carabiner with no tow weight rating. This item from Amazon was one third the price, was delivered quickly, and works perfectly for me!

Replacing the original cables that have been used for the past 10+ years. Impressed with the quality of this product looks as good as the original. Needed to connect the longer cable to age extension.
