It includes a class 3 hitch and a custom trailer wiring harness to plug in trailer lights. The class 3 hitch is specifically designed to fit certain years of the Ford Explorer or Ford Police Interceptor Utility. It offers a custom fit and is rated for up to 4, 000 lbs. GTW and 400 lbs. TW, as well as 5, 000 lbs. WD and 500 lbs. WDTW (limited to lowest-rated towing component). It features a standard 2" hitch receiver and is tested in accordance with SAE J684 for safety. It also has industry-leading rust resistance, inside and out, with its co-cured liquid Bonderite and powder coat finish. Included with this class 3 hitch is a custom trailer wiring harness for the vehicle. The wiring harness equips the Ford Explorer or Ford Police Interceptor Utility with a standard 4-pin trailer wiring harness, and it requires no splicing for installation.

Works great for my application on my 14 Explorer. They don’t have much of a towing capacity so it’s plenty sturdy. It fit perfectly.

Bolted right on as described and YouTube videos helped as well. Recommend two people to help install. Would recommend

Fits well. A little difficult to install. After installing, expect your exhaust pipes to be approximately 1 inch or more lower than before. The wiring fit perfectly. My only complaint is attaching the wiring to the trailer hitch itself. The zip ties that are included are not long enough to go around the round trailer hitch tubing.

Exactly what I needed to tow a Uhaul trailer from NYC to Southern California. The part is heavy duty and looked pretty easy to install. I took it to my mechanic and was no issue. This part came with an electrical plug that connects from the bottom plug to the trailer plug for the brake lights. Please note that you will still need to get the hitch ball mount which you can get here on Amazon or AutoZone. I bought mines in AutoZone. I truly recommend this seller and part. 💪ðŸ½
