Care Instructions
- Flour peel before dough is put on - otherwise the dough WILL stick to the peel!
- Do not wash the pizza stone with soap or put oil on it, EVER! The stone will get dark spots with usage and this is normal is it becomes seasoned.
- The bamboo pizza peel and rocker/cutter are hand-wash ONLY. DO NOT put in the dishwasher!
How to Use Your Gourmet Pizza Stone Set
Simply made, delicious pizzas - from home!
1. Preheat stone in the oven or on a grill on 450-500 degrees for 45 minutes.
2. Roll out pizza dough to preferred size, and place on FLOURED peel.
3. Add your favorite sauce, cheese, herbs and toppings.
4. Use the peel to place uncooked pizza on the preheated pizza stone.
5. Rotate pizza with peel as needed while cooking.
6. Use swift movement to slide peel under the cooked pizza and remove from oven or grill.
7. Let pizza cool. Use the cutter to easily slice the pizza.

Needed a white elephant gift between $30 -$40. Saw this on amazon as I was buying a pizza peel for my sons girlfriend. People were fighting over it ( lol )

I got this for my hubby who loves to cook pizza on the grill. He loves it. The stone isn't as heavy as our old one, despite being larger, and having a rack to hold it is wonderful. The peeler is very sturdy and easy to use/clean, though the handle could be a bit longer, that might make it too unwieldy. The cutter is amazing and very sharp, keep the blade guard packaging for storage! The only drawback is the stone can stick to the crusts a bit or if sauce/cheese leaks on it, it's a bit difficult to clean up. Overall great value, great gift, and very useful plus well made. Super pleased.

Well built and sturdy. People who complain about strange smells, etc., are probably "seasoning" the stone as if it were cast iron a/o washing it with soap and water. Never use soap (just like on cast iron). Just scrape it off and if necessary use plain water and a plastic scrubber of some wort. The stone will gradually adsorb some of the oils from your doughs, but you never grease the stone. I bake bread as well as pizzas on stones. Just sprinkle cornmeal on the peel and the dough will slide off onto the stone, (cornmeal acts like little ball bearings). If the stone is pre-heated the dough/crust won't stick.Now for the bad/good news.Bad: The version that i ordered showed the pizza cutter with a stainless steel blade. The previous version was a single piece of bamboo supposedly sharpened enough to cut the pizza. People had complained about it splintering and becoming dull, so i specially ordered the "new" version. But it arrived with the old bamboo blade. I messaged the seller and they responded a few hours later.Good: They explained that because the kit changeover was so recent, some of the old ones continued to be shipped out. They refunded the full amount AND told me to keep the entire kit as an apology for the mix-up. AND since they are now currently out of stock for 3-4 weeks, they will give me a 25% of coupon (good until the end of the year) towards the purchase of an additional full kit, with the new stainless blade.Pretty incredible customer service IMO.

First time user. Okay, I decided to make a Pillsbury roll out pizza crust on a baking sheet and it was not crisp so I purchased this kit with the excitement of a better pizza.Using the same crust and using flour to control sticking, as recommended, I began my journey. Preheated stone for 30 minutes at 500°. Put the pizza on the stone, could not slide it like a pro.At 15 minutes the edges were dark brown and the cheese on top was melted and bubbling so I removed the pizza.When I cut into it, the edges were crispy, the rest of it was dough. I put the cut pizza back on the stone, back in the oven for another 10 minutes.The cheese on top was burnt, not blackened, but not “cheesyâ€. The crust still wasn’t very crispy.I’m chalking this up to inexperience and I will try again… and again.

Received my xxl pizza kit on Wednesday and mad homemade pizza on Friday. The crust was amazing.Loved having the pizza slide and the metal blade cutter.Also appreciate the rack made it easy to get out of the oven so it could start cooling. Make sure to put on heavy, or silicone pads,as it's 550 degrees.I have to say I had two questions that I emailed and they replied within a couple of hours. Excellent customer service!!!I googled recipes I used the dough, sauce and instructions from the Food Charlatan. I highly recommend.Thank you Cuzi Gourmet

This is a great looking product and good quality. Stone does not clean well, and will not look like “new†even when lightly used, but that’s part of the appeal.
