If you have been bicycling for any period of time, you have probably come across at least one or more crazy-tight tires that you just can't pop on the rim when you get down to the last 4-5 inches. You have tried using one or multiple tire levers to try and work it on, but then the part off the rim keeps walking around the rim and you're left with the same 4-5 inches of bead still on the outside of the rim.I had one tire like that last weekend, when I was removing some tubeless mountain-bike tires to check the overall level of sealant. When it came time to finish the job, I just couldn't get the tire on with my fingers. This time, instead of reaching for my tire levers, I grabbed this Tire Bead Jack, and was able to lever it into place on about the second try. And I still have all of my fingernails and feeling in the pads of my fingers.I'll know in time how it holds up (it appears to be nylon?) but hopefully the tool would break before damaging or scratching a rim, so I don't think I would want something made out of metal. The only downside is that once you get used to having it, when you get a flat on the side of the road, you'll know what you're missing when you struggle with a particularly difficult re-install after changing the tube (perhaps another "plug" for tubeless? :-p). The size and infrequent use requirement means that you won't want to keep this in a jersey pocket, and it won't fit in most on-bike tool storage.Overall, this seems to be a useful tool to have on hand for the avid cyclist, as it can speed up one of the more painful (literally and figuratively) parts of bicycle maintenance.

Not wide enough to get over 2.4 tires without some significant struggle, but it works decently enough. It definitely helps!

This jack uses some very brittle polymer material, I haven't even fitted one bike tire and it is already broken in half. Very very disappointing.

Does not work when a tire insert is in.

I'm very amateur with bikes but I needed a new tire so I had tried to follow a video but couldn't get the tire on. This got the tire on finally. It probably would have been even easier if I'd known what I was doing, but, this made an impossible job possible.
