Bought this charger in August of 24. It is now Feb of 25 and it's not working. Nothing at all. No clicks and no charge. I tried replacing the fuses which are easily accessed from the outside with a little knob for each one. The knobs use 2 tiny metal pieces that bend easily to hold the cover on and the fuse in place. The metal pieces immediately bent on one then broke completely off when I tried to bend it back on place with my fingers. Now apparently I'm going to have to send it off because it appears the fuses weren't the problem AND now it also needs the fuse cover replaced.

Had to make sure it would hold my hogs in so I went around the fence touching it. It was like touching a 9v battery to your tounge, and boy was I disappointed. Then I had a great idea. You see, just maybe the rubber from my boot was providing enough insulation to shield be from the wrath of Zeus......I'll be damned .... It was. A bare foot on the ground 400' from the charger, and no restraint........I got my butt lit up like Wile R. Coyote in a lightning storm.... Please buy a fence tester with your purchase

Great strength and power. Strong zap. Weeds need to be trimmed and need to be careful of shorts. But angus heifers, cows and bulls all respect single wire. Does a good job keeping them inside the fence. Currently have 15-20 acres fenced and lots of turns and curves in fence line. Full power over 7,000 volts all the way through. Fence tester only goes to 7,000 and it’s bright! After a few days and training, the pigs didn’t bother the single strand for a few months thereafter.
