It is perfect height for your back. However. Assembly was a problem. The picture were not clear. Screw pictures were not large enough nor clear enough even with magnifying glass. But we were finally able to wing it.

Do not buy this! The directions are unclear. We could not get it put together. One of the screws was stripped. I have never been so frustrated in my life.

I have a 12lb Shih Tzu and this is perfect for him. There is just enough space for him which is great....not alot of movement allowed so he doesn't get water all over me. I can get around him just fine. The draining hose is a great idea... I wish it would be a bit longer. The tub folds down flat so easy to store and the base does as well. You will need an extra set of hands for the base assembly. Great materials very sturdy and durable. This has made my life easier. He is an indoor dog and sleeps with me so having him clean is very important. Mt back does not ache and works fantastic. I am very happy with it.
