Please don't laugh. This is my backyard tanning, cooling off pool and spa. My dogs don't go near it, although I could probably drag them into it should I choose to. I bought it for myself to get some sun without roasting in the Tennessee heat. The float came from Target for about $6. I have it set up on my gravel patio with used Amazon boxes underneath to cushion the bottom. If you have lots of moneybucks, (thank you Bluey), you could buy a nice pad like is used for standing all day. But for me, I just wanted something to keep the rocks from doing damage to the bottom. It is super easy to set up, (no inflation required), the bottom is thick and durable and it is easy drain and fold up. I can literally use it in the morning and fold it up and take it to the grandkids house the same day. I also bought a Fisher Price slide for the kids to slide into it. I wouldn't dream of doing this with the inflatable pools. The drain hole is located close to the bottom of the side of the pool so it is fast to drain and whatever water is left is easy to dump by just lifting it and pouring out the water. I tried several inflatable pools and they were flimsy, and a pain to inflate and kept leaking. The float in the water is 5'7" just for reference. I can completely lay out, front and back on this set up and just did down when required. It is also easy to make it super shallow for toddlers without compromising enjoyment. The only downside is the water heats up when left full, (um...all water heats up in the sun). I usually empty it every few days so I am not breeding mosquitos, (your welcome neighbors), but it fills pretty fast and you don't have to fill it completely to enjoy a nice cool dip. The upside of the heated water is that when I get home after standing all day, it is a nice warm spa to ease my sore legs and feet. Perfect!

I use this with my 75lb golden retriever and sometimes we have another dog visiting who uses it with her. Roomy and the perfect spot for dogs to cool off. Easy to fill with a regular garden hose and easy to empty. I recommend turning it upside down once drained to keep debris from getting in it.

I wanted something shallow enough for my 1 year old toddlers to play in but also wide enough for me to sit in the pool with them, and this was it. It seems very sturdy and my kids loved playing in it. Unfortunately, I'm giving 4 stars because the first time I ordered it, it got lost in transit and I had to reorder it. By the time it finally arrived, we only had one more week of hot summer weather to enjoy it. Draining the pool, and packing it up is fairly easy due to it being collapsible. I will store it and bring it out again next summer!

Not very sturdy if you have wild kids or dogs, but it works great for the price!

Dogs loved this during the summer. Easy to fold and put away. Held up to 2 labs and 2 heelers.

I use this pool in my shower for my bearded dragons and they love it! It’s small enough to fit in my shower and low enough that when the dragons are ready to get out they can grab the upper rim and climb out. It’s big enough that I can have all 4 girls at the same time and still have room for them to swim. This is super thick and sturdy and I don’t have to worry about their nails putting holes in it. It’s also very easy to empty and to clean. Going to get a bigger one of these for use outside in the summer. Definitely a great purchase and worth the money.

Pool leaked right away even with minimal water in it. No one touched the pool except for putting up to fill. And yes, I tightened the drain plug. And yes, it was on a smooth-coated concrete patio. Waste of time!
