Your cart is empty. With Organic Reserve Eb Clarinet reeds, you’ll project with a centered and clear sound fit for any performance. Designed to emulate the stability of a Bb clarinet reed - without needing to cut or modify a larger reed to fit the Eb clarinet - these reeds contain a shorter vamp for even tone in all registers, rounded tip corners for additional tonal warmth, plus a thinner tip thickness for quick response. Each reed in the pack comes single-sealed in a recyclable paper reed holder and flow wrap.

I'm an amature clarinet player who only occasionally plays, not a professionsal, so please keep that in mind when reading this review. I liked the fact that these reeds are certified organic, which is something I never considered before. Seeing as a reed spends a lot of time in the player's mouth, it makes sense to choose organic if you're able. D'Addario is a well-known, established company that also makes Rico reeds. These reeds are made in the USA, however, materials are "domestic and foreign." PLease take note that these are Eb clarinet reeds, NOT Bb reeds, a fact that escaped my attention when ordering. If you look at the photos you will see that a standard Rico Royal 3.5 Bb clarinet reed is significantly bigger than these. However, after soaking the reed and putting it on the mouthpeice of my Bb clarinet, it seemed to be fine, if a little short. I was able to play straight off without breaking the reed in. This was surprising to me, since my embouchre is not that great, and I seldom play anymore. Next, I decided to compare pitches produced by this reed to pitches with the Bb reed. I found no difference in pitch, so I would say that you could use these reeds in a picnh on a Bb clarinet, although technically they are designed for use on an Eb clarinet and are slightly small. Overall, I would say these are nice, playable reeds, and the price is reasonable, just pay attention, and buy the correct version for the instrument you play. Can't say much about tone, but that's my fault and not the reed!

Reeds were odorless and tasteless. Held up to many hours of playing. Were exactly as expected for the strength of the reeds, and played as expected for an experienced clarinet player.

My middle schoolers use these for their clarinets for band at school. They work as intended and last as expected.I’m not sure I noticed any difference with the organic type, but the price difference is so small that I am glad to order the organic version when possible.

D'Addario makes really good stuff and these reeds are no exception. My daughter is just learning clarinet. As a result, she is prettty tough on reeds. So far, these are working great. She is getting a good life out of them (not what she should, but that's another matter). The sound out of them is great (for a beginner). Overall, these are very good reeds at a very reasonable price.

This is something I never thought about when I was in school playing the clarinet. I am learning to play it again and this was a nice opportunity to start it off right. I picked this style because I am considered a beginner at this point and my sound isn't great yet.I think it is well worth the price to have a safer version of the reed since it rests in your mouth. I hope more parents choose this type for their children.

Saw these reeds and decided to order some, I used to play clarinet when I was younger and kept my clarinet after my school years, but stopped playing, so I wanted to see if I still had my talent by giving these reeds a try, they seem to be good quality reeds, organic and looked forward to using them,I like that they come in a good amount, I attached one to my clarinet and was ready to strut my stuff again, idk if it was my clarinet being old,the strength of the reed or that the reeds are Eb and not Bb, but I could only hit 4-5 of the lower sounding notes, not the higher pitched ones, all I got out of my clarinet when I tried was squeaking and squealing, the notes I was able to make using this reed though were clear and rich sounding, so, just with that, I still think these are some good reeds.

My son was running out of reeds too often so I decided to start ordering them online. I am very satisfied with these reeds. They have a good flavor and the price is great and feels sturdy.

This is my preferred reed so I was happy to see them available for Eb clarinet.
