I bought three sets of these for a poster project for my 40 or so high school sophomores, and I didn't get a single complaint. When I asked how they compared to Sharpies, a bunch of them immediately turned their heads in a flash and said, "WAY BETTER." "Way better than Sharpies?" I asked, doubting that I'd heard right. "Yes! They don't stink!" was the answer.They seem to write every bit as well as Sharpies, but I can't verify whether they are as permanent. For my purposes, they performed even better, because they were perfectly vivid and maintain a good flow (despite being launched across the classroom annoyingly often), but don't seem to bleed through paper as quickly. I had the impression that they were easier to wash off of desks and computers as well (eyeroll). Just an alcohol wipe and a tad bit of elbow grease did the trick.10/10 would buy again

Keep in mind these do not have the same definition as sharpies.The ink is pretty watery.Lines bleed.Will not buy again.
