Your cart is empty.The PAC-2800BT was designed for the ultimate in flexibility and to be a simple add-on in any application using an electric fan. Included is a 70amp relay, enough for even the most power hungry of cooling fans. Fully programmable, the PAC-2800BT will work with your existing water temp gauge, operating from the temperature sending unit already installed. A dedicated sending unit can be installed for applications without a water temp gauge. OBD II compatible vehicles can obtain the engine temperature from the ECM with the use of a BIM-01-2 (or previous BIM-01-1), sold separately.
Compatible with single fan, dual fan or single two-speed fan applications.User-settable on and off temperatures. One 70A relay is included. The use of a second relay RLY-1 (0-30 amp) or RLY-3 (0-70 amp) will be required for dual fan or two speed fan operation (sold separately).

Can be directly connected to a Dakota Digital plastic-control box instrument system (does not work with earlier systems with aluminum control box). When used in conjunction with BIM-compatible Dakota Digital instrumentation or a BIM-01-2, a single cable transfers speed and temperature data to the PAC-2800BT allowing the fan to be shut off at an adjustable highway speed!

Box measures 4" wide, 2.25" high, 1" thick. Mounting is recommended inside the cab of the vehicle or an alternate dry environment.
Autometer full-sweep electronic water temperature gauges will require the use of a dedicated Dakota Digital temp sensor 140022, SEN-04-1, SEN-04-2, SEN-04-4, SEN-04-5 or SEN-04-6.

I bought this to run my two speed Ford Taurus fan. Easy to follow instructions and very easy to customize fan on off temp settings with the app on my android phone. Works well.

I installed a new fan and wanted a controller and minimal new wiring so I chose this. I have a DD VHX already installed and coupled it with this. I only need to run the control wire from the box to the fan, the rest was pretty much quick connect in the dash. I set it up with the app installed on my phone. It does exactly what and when I want.

Excellent fan controller. Used it in my Comanche with an XJ front end conversion. Super easy to install, and having the bluetooth function is really nice.My only complaint would be that the bluetooth times out way too quickly. It would be nice if it would stay connected when switching to other apps. Also, if they could find a way to integrate it into the Torque App, that would put it over the top.

Just got this controller two days ago. Wired it up as it was simple according to the instructions. Downloaded the app, which never would pair with my phone. Most importantly is I could never get it to program. Followed the instruction to try to get it into setup mode and it does nothing. Emailed Dakota Digital, haven't heard anything back yet. Don't know if I got a faulty unit but it doesn't work. A small red light just blinks in the top left corner.

I have dakota digital gauges so this just plugged right into my existing setup and controls my fan as it should..

This is a great product and has all the features you need to control your cooling fan. Great job Dakota Digital ! I love the Bluetooth app to set up the system and monitor performance while running. Well thought out design. The only improvement I would suggest to Dakota Digital in the future is to use a proper automotive grade multi pin connector instead of screw down terminals. I know it means a redesign but screw down terminals are good for the lab but not so much in use in the field. I expect to retighten these over time. Great product overall.
