Our faucet was leaking like crazy and my husband was convinced that we'd need to replace the whole thing. I looked up parts for the Pegasus faucet and this was the only recommendation, so I took a chance and ordered it. It was simple to install with the enclosed instructions and works perfectly, I couldn't be happier. Solved our problem for less than $20!

Easy install, suggest faucet lube when installing, 1st time it creaked a little when turned on and off. Way cheaper the big box store which would have special ordered at twice the price.

This is an exact replacement for my Pegasus faucet.I bought the hot and cold models.When installed they both leaked up through the fawcet housing. Come to find out the o ring washer is slightly too small and does not seal. Fortunately The old ones, were still in reasonable condition , so I replaced the new with the old and they stopped the leak. The stems work fine but having to find replacement O Rings is not good.

I cross referenced my Glacier Bay part number to this Danco 3Z-16C cartridge. It was too short, so when you tighten the handle it interferes with the faucet base. Upon removing the handle to see what the problem might be, I saw that it was leaking. I shut the water off and removed this new cartridge and it literally fell apart into 4 different pieces.

Don’t usually write reviews but it was somewhat difficult to find information related to this cartridge/faucet, so hopefully this helps someone.I have two centerset Lyndhurst faucets (made by Glacier Bay) in my bathroom. I did not purchase them but they look visually the same as what I could find online for this faucet. These hot and cold cartridges were the correct fit for my faucet and fixed a slow drip that had developed recently. I added a bit of waterproof grease to the rubber rings but I don’t know if it was necessary.Keep in mind that there is a different Lyndhurst faucet without the deckplate that I believe uses different cartridges. These cartridges work on the faucet in the attached photo.

For the price of the item, the quality and the functionality is priceless. Installing the stem was easier than getting it out. However, finding the appropriate stem was the challenge. Overall, the rating of the stem is 10. It restored the leaking faucet.

It works, but it’s shorter then the factory valve, and what happens is when the handle is tightened down, it rubs on the lower flange of the faucet which makes it difficult to turn. If it was the same hight as the original, it leaves 1/8 of an inch space for easy turning of the handle. I had to rig a spacer to raise the handle when installed on the valve stem.

Exact fit for my Pegasus faucet from the home depot. Fixture is about 17 years old. Easy to remove the old stem and install this replacement.

Unless you can find a store that sells Pegasus brand taps you are unlikely to find a direct replacement. I did not like the "often bought together" part on the web page because I bought the hot cartridge without looking closely at the picture which showed a different stem. I bought that item as well. It was the same size as the other cartridge so I took the stem out of the old cartridge and used it in the new cartridge. I debated on whether or no to do this or send it back. in looking closer on the web page there were two little blue boxes with the heading " hot stem" and " cold stem" and these were a proper pair.
