Hard to find part that can also be delivered by the next day. Had to pull up and adjust the red cap so the protruding tip is more to the + symbol to get more hot water. Perfect replacement part that saved me from replacing the valve body.

If you have a Jacuzzi brand shower valve, particularly the "Duncan series" (model 873X-5604) and you need a replacement valve cartridge (part number RP20006) then this is the replacement you need.Fits and operates exactly as the original cartridge.

Exact replacement for the factory piece and easy to install. Down side is be sure to check where the water flows through. Mine the plastic was overcast and blocked the holes, simple fix with a drill just be careful.

Just like a spare tire, this is a good spare! Especially for the price! Let me leave you a tip and you can pay me when you see me! Why the dial is turn to the left, I don’t have the answer. Once you switch it to right side, you have hot water!

The original unit held up for a good period of time. These replacements do not. However they are cheap enough and my technique is honed where it only takes 1/2 hr for the entire job. Use silicon lube to ensure the old unit slides out easily.
